We are the Rutt family and we live on a small family farmette in Fredericksburg PA. We have a set of twin boys and their little brother joined us 2 years later.
A few years ago my grandfather helped us learn the process of raising and caring for his Bichapoo puppies. At that time, we were living on a tiny lot in Ephrata, and needing something to fill our time. Our young boys really seemed to enjoy the puppies as they grew. And meeting the new families and being able to provide the puppy they've been searching for is amazing. We knew then that raising dogs would be a priority in our family. We got our first dog, Dixie, a year later. She was a middle-aged, well-behaved mini Goldendoodle and such a people lover. We knew she'd be a great fit for our young, growing boys. We moved to Fredericksburg in spring of 2019 and settled into our 10 acre place. One of our first additions to our farmette was new kennels for our dogs. Since then, we've had the joy of seeing many families taking their new puppies home. And several have expressed interest in returning for a new playmate at a later time. We welcomed Skipper, Alex and Clover to our farm in 2020. Clover and Alex have grown up here with our family. In 2023, we retired Dixie from breeding and re-homed her with a nice young family who was looking for an older pet for their young children. in 2023 we welcomed Willow, a mini goldendoodle to our home. All 4 of our pets love to roam the farm and play with our children. At night they each have their own sleeping areas in a temperature-controlled kennel.
